Mommy's night out

Last night I took advantage of the Army's "Parents night out" program and had a girls night. It was the 1st time I have been out without Audrey since she was born, with the exception of work. It was nice but I was glad to have her back at the end of the night. I dropped her off at 6 and the whole check in process took 45 minutes. Beth and I were supposed to meet Amber at 6:30 at the movies. Obviously we didn't make the movies. So we went to eat at Nami's (a hibachi grill) and then went for coffee. We had a very good time.
In other news, Audrey has been practicing her skills so that she can impress Daddy when he comes home. She has been rolling a lot and has become quite mobile. She still doesn't roll at daycare so I guess she is shy. She is trying to learn how to do raspberries. It is cute. She is still a major squealer and talker. She is getting pretty sturdy and can sit up pretty well now, with help of course, and she can also stand. Her new favorite thing to do is jump, either in her jumperoo or on mommy's lap. Audrey is so much fun now. I can't wait to show her off in AR next week.

Hey, speaking of AR...We're going up there in May...May 13-19th and we're all going camping that weekend...Pam and Bob, David and Heather, Grandma Joan, Mark and Jackie, etc. You and Audrey should try to make it up there...I know it's a long trip for you too, but it would be neat if you could!!!
