Swimming and baby led weaning

Swimming lessons are going well although A isn't really learning how to swim. I can dunk her under the water and she doesn't freak out and she holds her breath and we are getting close to her being able to float on her back. She used to scrunch up her face, close her eyes and stick her feet straight up in the air when you but her on her back but now she actually wants to go on her back. She is still kind of stiff but she is definitely relaxing. She even smiles now when she is on her back. We are having a blast playing in the pool regardless of what she learns anyways.
I have been reading a lot about baby led weaning and it has made me braver about trying new, whole foods. Audrey is loving it. Today she had toast and honeydew. The honeydew was not a success but the toast was a definite hit. Plus, since I was eating a sandwich, she thought we had the same supper. I know there are all kinds of pictures of A eating but I promise that is not what she does all the time.

I think the whole concept is so interesting! And it really looks like it's going well. She is such a doll!
