- Babies like to be left alone sometimes. There are times in each day when Audrey doesn't want to be held. She just wants to chill and look around at her surroundings.
- The swing can be a lifesaver when you have to pee. When Audrey wants to be held, potty breaks require the swing. She digs it so she doesn't complain about being left in there. It is also helpful at dinner time and when Tony wants to chat online.
- Babies sometimes cry in their sleep. I was waking Audrey up the first 3 weeks of her life because I didn't realize this. I would pick her up every time she made a peep and it would wake her up. Poor baby wasn't getting a good night sleep until I realized I needed to leave her alone.
- Everyone is an expert on parenting. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry has an opinion on how to raise your kid. I'm sorry but I really don't care how the lady in the Wal-Mart parking lot thinks that Audrey needs to ride in her carseat in the cart, not in the baby carrier.
- Keep trying new things. What didn't work yesterday might work today and vice versa.
My little gansta
Conked out.
