Growing

I know it's been a while since Poppy has written on here so I figured I would at least let you all know how A's 18 month checkup went. Audrey had a growth spurt in the last month since she went to the dr. with HFM. She grew 2 inches and gained almost 4 lbs in one month. She now weighs 23.8 lbs and is 32.2 inches tall. Of course her head circumference is still off the charts at 19.5 inches. The doc said she is very smart due to so much one on one time. Sorry I don't have any pictures to put on here today, I'll try to do a picture update soon.

Post #200 and its long overdue

I know I am a bad blogger and I am so sorry to all of my followers. I have been so busy that I haven't had much time to even take pictures, let alone post them. Today I found myself with a little free time so I thought I would catch everyone up.
Audrey was 17 months old yesterday and she is such a big girl. She runs around all over the place and she is talking up a storm. She can count to 14 now and she almost never misses a number. She can tell you what almost any animal says and she can tell you what they are called and recognize them in pictures and in real life. She is starting to speak in sentences too. She has "and" down. She is constantly pointing at us and saying "Mommy....and Daddy." I am very proud of her, can you tell?
Today we watched Dax, Audrey's cousin, and we went to the craft fairs, played in the yard and walked to the park. Here are some pictures from our yard play time. We had a good day.

Pickin' wildflowers

Today Audrey and I took advantage of the beautiful weather and our giant yard. Audrey picked lots of wildflowers (weeds count as wildflowers right?) or as she says "flowahs" and I took lots of pictures. When she picks a flower she puts it up to her nose and blows. She hasn't gotten the smelling part down yet but its funny.

She is getting so big and I pretty sure she is a genius. She can count! Example: Mommy: "One"; Audrey: "Two"; Mommy: "Three"; Audrey: "Fo-wah" You get the idea. Sometimes she just goes solo too. Mommy: "One"; Audrey: "Two, Tee, Fo-wah, Fi" She is such a smarty!

Back by popular demand

I have been a crappy poster lately. I haven't even been that busy. I am just relaxing with my family. Can you really blame me?
A lot has happened since my last post. Audrey now has 5 teeth. 3 on the top and 2 on the bottom. She can say at least 60 words now and she is amazingly clear. She climbs like crazy so you have to really watch her and she is without a doubt the cutest funniest baby in the whole world. Oh, and she ditched the paci and started sleeping all night. =)
Here she is sporting a headband. She figured it out all by herself. She calls it a hat though.

My rosy cheeked teether. This is before the left middle top tooth showed up. We are currently awaiting its mate.

Audrey eating yogurt. She is getting pretty good with the spoon and fork. We usually try to give her less messy things to practice with.

Poor baby has been getting tons of sties. We took her to the eye doctor and everything is okay. We just have to put in antibiotic drops for a while. (Side note: We got robbed while we were at the eye doctor. They kicked in our door and took our TV, Tony's laptop, and they even went in to Audrey's room and took all of her 2 dollar bills.)

Climbing in her dump truck. Her favorite thing to do now is crawl inside things. Boxes, buckets, baskets. It is pretty cute but sometimes leads to some bumps and bruises.

Audrey's new tooth...

Audrey finally has her 1st tooth. Her first pearly white finally made its appearance on 12/9/09, just 2 days after her 1st birthday. Last night we had portraits done and they were able to capture it on camera. Notice that it isn't in the normal 1st tooth places.

1st Birthday Party Fun!!
