The funny faces of A

I was trying to cheer myself up today by looking at pictures and I decided that I needed to share some of my favorite Audrey faces with you. I figure it is ok now since most of you have met her now and know she is beautiful. She sure can make some crazy faces. This post took me forever but I must say it has been my favorite one to do so far. And....it really did cheer me up. Enjoy!

Missing Daddy - Day One

Audrey and I dropped Tony off at the airport this morning. Here are some pictures from last night and this morning. We are going to miss him terribly.
Tony - We love you so much and we are so proud of you.

Playing with her daddy.

Don't I have a cute family?

Not daddy related but look how sweet she is.

Daddy kisses are the best.

My 2 favorite people.

Notice a resemblance? I think this picture is hilarious.

It's hard to say good-bye.

That is how he says good-bye to me. Nice huh?
We will miss you.

My New Pool

Well, today we decided to take advantage of the 95 degree weather here in good ole Texas, and went for a swim in the new pool that we bought for A. It's really cool, the water is about 5 inches deep and the pool is just a little blow up frog. You can hook a water hose up to it and there is a fountain that squirts back into the pool. A loved it, she got to splash around and have a good time. We already knew she was a water baby, because she loves bath time, so we figured she would love having a pool for the hot summer days. Check her out...

5 months old

Audrey is 5 months old today. Here are some things about her this month.

She can push up and roll over in all ways. She can sit without support but you have to help her get to a sitting position. She wears size 2 diapers, 0-3 month onesies, 3-6 month pants, 0-3 month dresses, newborn shoes, and 6-9 month sleepers.

She sleeps from 7:30ish to 5 and wakes up to eat and then sleeps until 7 or so. She naps from 9:30 to 11:30 and from 3 to 5. She snores sometimes and sleeps in her crib almost exclusively.

She is loving having her daddy home. He can make her squeal with laughter like no one else can. He is whistling to her here.

Her diet consists of peas, rice cereal and breast milk. She still hasn't had formula. Go Mommy!
She still takes a paci but prefers her fingers and her toes on occasion.

She loves playing in her Jumper and Exersaucer and sitting in her Bumbo.

I'm am a world class chef.

I could give Gordon Ramsey a run for his money. I used my expert culinary skills today to make my little angel a gourmet dinner. The menu: peas, peas, and more peas. She hasn't been too interested in her cereal but seems to like the concept of eating so we decided to try to give her something new. She loved them. She ate them all (at least what she wasn't wearing). I hope she loves them because she is stuck with them for a while until we know they don't hurt her tummy and then we are on to bigger and better things. I can't wait to make more baby food.

I think she is in a pea induced state of euphoria.

She actually dove for the spoon to get more.

She kept trying to help me.

She was a mess by the time we finished. She kept putting her hand in her mouth while she was eating and rubbing pea particles all over her face.

New camera

I got a new camera for an early birthday present so I have been taking loads of pictures. Here are a few of my favorites.
